kullanarak (1=Hiçbir Zaman, 2=Nadiren, 3=Ara Sıra, 4=Sık sık, 5=Her Zaman) cevap
vermeleri istenmiştir. Ölçeklerin cronbach alfa katsayıları incelendiğinde tüm katsayıların
0,70’in üstünde olduğu görülmektedir.
The purpose of this study is; is to analyze how effective the mentor is in supporting
domestic entrepreneurial activities in family businesses. Support for domestic
entrepreneurship activities is important for the sustainability of family businesses. For this
reason, family businesses in Ankara have been identified as every day. However, since it is
not possible to reach the whole of the universe, the data are collected by means of sampling,
which is a sampling technique that is not based on probability. An individual interview was
conducted by the researcher to reach the culprits of the 273 family operations (possible
leading girls or boys).
Scales used in the research; the "career function" and "psycho-social support function"
sub-dimensions developed by Neo (1988) and the 18-item mentoring scale were used to
measure mentors' perceptions of the crown prince. "Innovation", "proactivity", "risk taking",
"autonomy" and "expanding individual networks" subscales and 22 internal entrepreneurship
scale developed by Şeşen (2010) were used in order to determine the internal entrepreneurship
characteristics of the crown prince. Participants were asked to respond using a 5-point Likert
Scale (1 = Never, 2 = Rarely, 3 = Intermediate, 4 = Frequently, 5 = Always). When the
cronbach alpha coefficients of the scales are examined, it is seen that all the coefficients are
above 0.70. Based on these findings, the scales were considered reliable.
Within the scope of the findings of the research; demographic characteristics of the
participants, descriptive statistics, and structural equality model of the research.
A total of 12 hypotheses 4 were supported, 4 were partially supported, 2 were not
supported and 2 were not tested. According to the findings and conclusions obtained, it is
considered that the crown princesses in the family business have not made an effort to
contribute to themselves and their businesses to improve their internal entrepreneurship
activities and that the mentoring tendency does not have any supporting contribution in this
matter. According to the findings, hypotheses are supported and as a result of the evaluation
of the findings; the inevitable change of globalization has led to the fact that the participants'
resistance reflexes differed in their demographic characteristics.
