| dc.description.abstract | Bu çalışmada, isveç Stockholm Folkuniversitetet Merkezi‟nde (İSFM) yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğrenen yetişkinlerin dil öğrenme ihtiyaçlarını belirlemek ve ihtiyaçların yaş, cinsiyet, eğitim gibi değişkenlere göre farklılık gösterip göstermediğini ortaya koymak amaçlanmıĢtır.
Araştırma için Iwai ve diğerleri, (1999) “Japanese Language Needs Analysis 1998-1999” adıyla geliştirdiği ve Çangal (2013) tarafından Türkçe öğrenenler için “Türkçe Öğrenme İhtiyaçları Ölçeği” adıyla uyarlanan ölçek kullanılmıştır. İSFM Türkçe okutmanının görüşleri alınarak ölçek yeniden düzenlenmiştir. Bu araştırma ingilizceye çevrilmiş haliyle katılımcılara sunularak veriler toplanmıştır.
Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu İSFM‟da 2016-2017 yıllarında Türkçe kurslarına katılmış ve araştırma ölçeğini dolduran 65 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma kapsamında toplanan nicel ve nitel verilerden nicel veriler istatistiksel analizlere dâhil edilmiş ayrıca nitel veriler ile desteklenerek değerlendirilmiştir. Nicel analizlerde parametrik olmayan testler kullanılıp; parametrik olmayan bağımsız örneklemlerden Mann-Whitney U-testi veya Kruskal-Wallis H-testi kullanılmıştır. Toplanan verilerin analizinde SPSS 23 programı kullanılarak sonuçlar nitel veriler ışığında ortaya konulmuştur.
Araştırmadan elde edilen verilere göre İSFM‟ da Türkçe öğrenen kursiyerlerin dil öğrenme ihtiyaçları sırasıyla Sınıf içi iletişim, Bireysel ilgi ve ihtiyaçlar, Eğitim ve İş İmkânı ve Ticaret Yapma olmak üzere dört alt boyutta değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilere göre kursiyerlerin Sınıf İçi İletişim Kurma İhtiyacı ön plandadır. Kursiyerlerin yaş düzeyleri arttıkça “Ticaret Yapma‟‟ eğilimi içinde oldukları ve en çok konuşma becerisini geliştirmeye ihtiyaç duydukları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
This study refers to specify language-learning needs of adult who learn Turkish as a foreign language at the Swedish Stockholm Folkuniversitetet (ĠSFM) and aimed to prove that differences of needs with according to variables as age, gender and education.
Iwai et al. (1999) developed under the name of “Japanese Language Needs Analysis 1998-1999” and “Questionnaire On The Needs in Turkish Learning” developed by Çangal (2013) adapted for the scale was used for research. The scale was rearranged by taking the opinions of ISFM Turkish Instructor. The data is collected with the study presented to the participants in English.
The study group of this study is including 65 students who have completed Turkish learning course in ISFM at years between 2016 and 2017 and filled the research scale. The collected quantitative data within the scope of the survey that evaluated with statistical analyses and also the support of qualitative data. Non-parametric tests are used for quantitative analysis; non-parametric independent samples are used with Mann-Whitney U-Test and Kruskal Wallis H-Test. SPSS 23 software is used to analyse the collected data and obtained results are presented with based on qualitative data.
According to the data that obtained from the survey, the needs of language-learning of the Turkish language learning trainees in ISFM have emerged in four sub-dimensions: Communication with Each Other During in the Class, Individual Interests and Needs, Education and Job Opportunity and Trade Making with respectively. Eventually, when the ages of the trainees increase, they tend to “Trade” and they mostly need to improve their speaking skills. | en_US |
