Okul müdürlerinin gözünden mültecilerin eğitim sorunları: Gaziantep ili örneği

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de bulunan Suriyeli çocukların eğitim alanında yaşadıkları sorunların yönetsel boyutlarını keşfetmek, eğitsel sorunlarını açığa çıkarmak ve bu yönetsel ve eğitsel sorunlara yönelik, eğitim alanında okul müdürleri ile görüşülerek belirlenen sorunlara çözüm önerileri üreterek literatüre bu alanda katkı sağlamaktır. Bu çalışma nitel bir çalışmadır. Araştırma kapsamında ölçüt örneklem yolu ile seçilmiş Gaziantep ilinin Şahinbey ilçesinde 10 okulun müdürü ile yüz yüze görüşme yapılmış ve yarı yapılandırılmış on soru sorulmuştur. Yapılan görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler içerik olarak analiz edildikten sonra temalarına göre ayrılmışlardır. Araştırma bulgularına göre okul müdürlerinin tamamı sayının çok olduğunu ve öğrencilerin homojen olarak dağıtılması gerektiğini belirtmişlerdir, tamamına yakını dil farklılığının sorun olduğunu belirtmişlerdir. Okul müdürleri öğretmenlerin hazırlıksız yakalandığına da dikkat çekmişlerdir. Elde edilen veriler sonucunda kapsamlı uyum çalışmasının yapılmadığı görülmüştür. Bürokratik sürecin uzunluğu nedeni ile okul müdürlerinin alternatif çözümler ürettikleri bulgusuna ulaşılmıştır. The aim of this study was to explore the administrative aspects of the educational problems of Syrian children in Turkey, uncovering the populace that has educational issues and for these administrative and educational problems, producing solutions concomitantly to the identified issues in consultation with school administrators is to contribute in this field of research literature. This study is a qualitative study and phenomenology method was used. Within the scope of the research, face-to-face interviews were conducted with the principals of 10 schools in Şahinbey district of Gaziantep, where was selected by criterion sampling, and ten semi-structured questions were asked. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed according to their content and separated according to their themes. According to the findings of the research, all of the school principals stated that the number was high and that the students should be distributed homogeneously. Almost all of them stated that language difference was a problem. School administrators also pointed out that teachers were caught unprepared. As a result of the data obtained, it was seen that no comprehensive adaptation study was performed. Due to the length of the bureaucratic process, it was found that school principals produce alternative solutions.
